Movie Review to "Ricky Gervais Live: Animals"

Filmed during a limited run at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, the show is based around Ricky’s fascination with the animal kingdom (including that curious species, the human being) and covers subjects as diverse as classifying bats, gay animals and the Great War poets. From the moment the curtain goes up, it becomes clear that David Attenborough has nothing to worry about as Gervais accompanies a short film on animal copulation with a unique and not entirely scientific narration! Fans will wonder if any subject is taboo as the comedy drifts from his interpretation of the Bible (including what really went on in the Garden of Eden) to parts of the animal kingdom that the BBC never dared to cover. Movie Review to "Animal 2"

Film star Ving Rhames reprises the title role in this follow up to 2005's animal. Years after being shot by his eldest son Darius (previously played by Terrence Howard) and taking the fall for his crimes, former gangster James "animal" Allen (Ving Rhames) serves a life sentence at Folsom Prison. When a riot breaks out between the Blacks and Mexicans, animal is transferred to Susanville Prison. While serving his time, animal learns that his son, James Jr.(K.C. Collins), is framed for murder and the one responsible for calling the shots is on the inside. He is blackmailed and forced to return to his dark past as a fighter in order to save his son. On the outside, Darius (played by Vicellous Reon Shannon), now a reformed man, maintains his relationship with his father and does everything in his power with the help of his lawyer to gather enough evidence to clear James Jr's name. Through Pyle's torment and Joker's unwillingness to stand up against it the climax of part one is achieved with all three main characters deciding their fates by their action or inaction. The second chapter of Full Metal Jacket delves into Joker's psyche and the repeated referal to the fact that he joined the Corps to become a killer. When his mostly behind the scenes job as a combat correspondant is interfered with by the Tet offensive he is thrust into real combat and ultimately must choose if he really is a killer. "Call of the Wild" is a modern-day story incorporating elements of Jack London's classic short novel.
